Give French Valley Youth a Safe Place to Ride

French Valley and the surrounding Southwest Riverside County area have grown rapidly, but recreational opportunities and transportation options for teenagers have not kept pace.

A growing number of young people ride electric bicycles, modified electric stunt bikes, and electric motorcycles. They practice balance, wheelies, technical skills, bike control, filming, and other forms of electric action sports—but there is no purpose-built local facility where they can legally and safely train.

These riders are not asking for permission to ride recklessly through neighborhoods or ignore safety rules. They are asking for somewhere appropriate to go.

Without a designated facility, riders are pushed into streets, parking areas, vacant spaces, and ordinary parks that were never designed for this activity. That creates conflict with motorists, residents, businesses, and law enforcement and places young riders and members of the public at unnecessary risk.

We support the creation of a professionally designed, insured, and controlled electric action-sports park that could include:

A wheelie and balance-training lane;
Beginner, intermediate, and advanced riding zones;
A stunt pad, pump track, ramps, and technical features;
Areas for approved pedal-less electric stunt bikes;
Required helmets, safety equipment, bike inspections, and parental consent;
Youth instruction, mentorship, clinics, events, and safety education; and
The color-coded Earn Your Crown™ rider-development system.
We ask Riverside County, Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District, local landowners, businesses, sponsors, and action-sports professionals to support site identification, feasibility review, appropriate permitting, community partnerships, and development of this facility.

French Valley youth deserve more than repeated instructions about where they cannot go.

They deserve a responsible answer to where they can go.

Give them a place to ride.
