Fellow animal lover,
A couple of weeks ago you took action as Morrisons hosted its Annual General Meeting. This was a huge date in the diary, as the supermarket's shareholders and directors came together to discuss how Morrisons is spending its money.
We know that Morrisons is funding extreme cruelty, selling meat from chickens who suffer immense abuse in filthy factory farms.
Together, we made investors aware of this too, and asked them to use their influence to demand better. Now, it's time to find out if they brought their concerns to Morrisons.
Today's action is to Email the Investors:
Send an email to Morrisons' biggest investors, asking them if they raised the issue of chicken welfare at the AGM. We've got some suggested copy, but feel free to personalise this, it's always more effective in your own words.

Dear [investor name],
As a shareholder of Morrisons, I am aware that you will have attended their recent AGM.
Morrisons is funding gross and unnecessary cruelties, selling meat from chickens who live in overcrowded, filthy factory farms. Chickens raised for meat in Morrisons' supply chain are bred to grow unnaturally large, unnaturally quickly, causing them to suffer painful and debilitating diseases and disorders, with many unable to hold their own body weight.
You may be aware that there is currently a major campaign against Morrisons, asking them to sign the Better Chicken Commitment, a meaningful set of higher welfare standards that have been adopted by other supermarkets including Waitrose & Partners and Marks & Spencer.
So far, Morrisons has ignored calls to do better from campaigners and customers alike, even silencing its own staff on the issue.
As major shareholders, you hold great power and influence.
Did you use this standing last Thursday to ask Morrisons to do better for chickens? I would greatly appreciate hearing about whether you encouraged Morrisons to sign up to the Better Chicken Commitment, and if so, what their response was.
Yours sincerely,
[your name]
Thank you for taking action for the chickens!
