The new schedule change only gives GAPS students 7 periods - this takes away a lot of opportunities for students that the new schedule is supposed to provide. The new schedule also changes throughout the week which takes away the consistency that students (particularly neurodivergent students) need to be successful, and the shortened periods give less time to learn material, reducing productivity. Even more concerning, no students were asked for input in creating this new schedule which impacts us most directly.

This petition is meant to bring attention to the inequity that the schedule is supposed to eliminate, and prompt further consideration of the effects of this schedule change.
