With our petition looking so strong, we have have joined forces with other local groups who are campaigning to save habitat and opposing development. We have formed a Coalition. Many voices, all the same song. “The destruction of habitat has to STOP!” There’s also been a terrific upsurge in locals making their own notices alerting drivers to the presence of kangaroos in their area. But, still the deaths are happening and until this Council, State Gov’t, TMR etc start to place a ‘value’ on our wildlife their apathy shrieks volumes. The most important thing right now, is the fact that awareness is being raised in our community and you can never unlearn a fact. The more we keep this subject infront of the media, the Council and Gov’t the closer we will get to a solution. We will not give up this fight. We are prepared for the long haul and we will never let this get swept under the carpet of inconvenient truths. Thank you for your continued support. Claire WRSC
