Along the beautiful beaches of the sunshine coast, turtles come during the nesting seasons to peacefully lay their eggs... Until now. A company called "Stockland" are planning to build a number of eight storey buildings along the waterfront.

Recent  scientific research indicates that loggerhead turtles don't cope well with any form of light that is yellow, red or white. So because of the lights shining through the windows, it's almost certain that the amount of loggerhead turtles will decrease. Internationally, these turtles are critically endangered so to have these new buildings put up is too risky.  

I believe that they have every right to their environments, just like we do. The plans to build these apartments are slowly falling into action, so it's not to late to stop them!
