It isnt just a bus thats needed in Summerhill. There are huge road safety concerns. Myself and Kate , PJ Rochford, Nicola Regan, Maurauna Conlon and Martin Fagan brought our concerns to local representatives on more than one occasion and there has been little to no response from local officials.   

I questioned local representatives about my concerns about road safety in the village , I have yet to hear back from all these representatives. 

In the meantime I brought my concerns to public via social media and via physical media in the article pictured above.  The journalist who wrote the piece Holly Alder, was speechless after seeing where young kids were being picked up from. It is a ditch , there is no shelter , no signs to notify drivers to slow as its a bus stop for kids. 

I implore all those who have not done so , sign and share this petition , I am going to give it to the Meath County Councillors next meeting , with it I will be writing a report on the safety concerns in the village. Stop signs being broken , illegally parking vehicle's at junctions , lack of signage near a kids bus stop , no convex mirrors, the need for delineator cones at the stop sign across from lynches castle entrance.
