This issue is gaining traction. The article ends stating that 260 people have signed this petition but as I write this 343 of you have added your name to a call for action for rural public transportation and for that I thank you.

The goal of this petition has always been to create enough noise to make change and so far we have done that with my apperance on KFM on the  Kildare Today programme with Eoin Beatty which you can listen to via this link -  https://www.kfmradio.com/player/podcasts/episodes/monday-24th-april-2023-hour-1/?fbclid=IwAR2l76USJcU3ZFFSdUVdhaKoAmt6_4u3RjgZcChh6hcObRpA6wgalSCsZ_4

Some time last week I was contacted by The Meath Chronicle after having made them aware of this issue and they asked me if I would like to speak about it. You will be able to read it above. Much needs to be done and I am trying my best to bring a voice to what is one of many key issues in both Summerhill and Kilcock and the many areas in between.

I will continue to raise these issues with the relevant authorities and make sure the locals are kept up to date. I have shown the cards in my hand the whole way through , I havent lied about why the need for change is there. I have always answered the questions asked. However Bus Eireann had been contacted for comment and gave no response.

I would like to draw your attention to another article written on the 11th April 2023 also in The Meath Chronicle. https://www.meathchronicle.ie/2023/04/11/so-many-questions-so-little-time-cllrs-claiming-time-slots-to-grill-transport-chiefs-at-upcoming-meeting-is-too-tight/

They dont have time for anyone it seems, our actions will make them make time to listen to what we want. Help us make a difference and sign and share this petition far and wide.

Thank you to The Meath Chronicle and to KFM for the oppurtunity to bring this issue to the attention of the people of County Meath & County Kildare.
