I have had meetings with state representatives who I have discussed why this has happened to Derrick and what can be done to make the District Attorney office go and take a look at his case through the conviction integrity unit. I was told that his case would have to be closed before they would even consider looking at it. But yet they are the same ones trying to go against him. It makes No Sense. In the Boston Globe 3/30/22 it discussed Felony murder and joint venture the way the laws were before 2017. Judge Gants before his death wanted to change the way people were given first degree life sentences for a crime they didn’t commit. Please reach out to Interim Kevin Hayden at the District Attorney office in Massachusetts and tell him to look at Mr Derick Tyler case. There is wrongdoing and to make this right.
