Improvement to Santa Rita Ranch Internet Services

Improvement to Santa Rita Ranch Internet Services
The Issue
We, the residents, and homeowners of Santa Rita Ranch call on Suddenlink Communications to immediately work to improve the connection speeds, reliability, and service of both internet and television services to our Master Planned Community located in Liberty Hill, TX.
On October 30th, 2015, a press release to the broader public declared Santa Rita Ranch would bring 1 Gigabit internet service to her residents through Suddenlink Communications. The stakeholders in this community project understood well that a stable connection to the outside world was a prerequisite for any successful investment community.
Co-developer Ed Horne was quoted as saying:
"We want our residents to have the best, which is why we are partnering with Suddenlink for the fastest Internet speed anywhere in the Travis and Williamson County area."
6 years later, the residents of the best selling Master-Planned community in the Austin area find they rely exponentially more on a stable internet connection to live, work, and thrive in 21st century America.
A quick review of the 2 area Suddenlink Yelp pages (78626 I 78628), “Santa Rita Ranch Neighbors” Facebook page, and countless other online town squares reveal that the internet and television services provider for this community have failed demonstrably at their stated goal.
Residents are routinely plagued by unexplained dropped services, packet losses, sudden bandwidth contraction resulting in erratic upload and download speeds, outdated networking and cable equipment, discourteous customer service representatives, and arbitrary fees on bills for unaffiliated contractor visits to address these issues.
We respectfully request Suddenlink, and their affiliates, immediately deploy an aggressive strategy to address the inexcusable connection speeds, reliability, and services they offer our community.
If there are not concrete and tangible changes to reliability during the month of January 2022, we intend to ratchet up our petition efforts and aggressively lobby competition to enter the market to provide quality service for residents of this community.
