LIU Post has suddenly and heartlessly frozen the Music education, Art Education, Art Therapy, and Dance degree programs without notifying students and faculty, nor have they provided communication or valid reasoning as to why they’ve done this. Arts and education at LIU have been well reputed for decades, and recognized by several organizations including Best Value Schools. LIU Post’s vision does not include the continuation of the arts within our communities or schools. They have proven time and time again that they do not care about their student body or value the importance of Arts education. We stand and fight for our future students and Arts family on campus.
