Anne Arundel County has canceled the homecoming dance for their high school students. We can sit at a football game on top of each other without a mask on and that’s fine, but when we are more spread out with a mask on, that’s so bad. We have gotten robbed of everything, and all they care about is power within their position. Unfortunately, they don’t care about us students anymore, so it’s time that we step up and make a change. When we stand up to them, they have no choice but to listen, and change their wrong actions. I want to experience high school, not these masked and distanced learning environments. We as students need to show that we care, and that we want things to change. Now is the time for that change.
