These times are very uncertain due to this unfortunate outbreak of the coronavirus. Families are struggling because they are out of jobs and their children can not travel home. Its very difficult to focus on school work when people are in tough situations such as these. The university has recently went to online classes but this will make it very difficult for students who have questions because they have to refer to questions on email and teachers will be stressed with numerous emails they receive a day from confused students. Passing the students for the last term will be beneficial because it will give the students a relief from the stress of grades so they can focus more on their families and staying healthy during these troubling times. Passing students for this one term will also have a positive impact because it will mean that students will come back next year with a fresh mentality of giving it there all after a long break. Providence campus unfortunately won’t even have a graduation after all of their hard work. The least we can do is pass them for one term so they can get the degree they have been chasing for these many years. In one case on Jwu Charlotte campus students were told they could go home and return in April to finish their classes in a regular classroom setting. A few days later students were told they were given 4 days to pack all their belongings out of residential halls and move home for the rest of the year to continue an online class. And did not receive a refund on housing they already paid for. In these times the right thing should be done and passing all students and their classes would not only be the right thing to do but it would also relieve stress on everyone.
