I am a student and I study in Stockholm. there have been hundreds of cases of coronavirus in Stockholm and concerns regarding it have risen. The government has not taken any actions in order to try to minimize rush hours and limit crowded places. Which brings me to this petition. There are many students that have to get thought TCentralen or Slussen in order to go to school, I know I do. And knowing that there are so many cases of coronavirus in Stockholm it has made me and many other people feel extremely uneasy regarding the fact that schools are not closing and that our teachers are still expecting us to show up to school although we might be at risk of getting sick. I can speak for my school personally but all they have done so far is put a bottle of hand sanitizer in front of the dining room which is now watered down in order reuse the bottle. Furthermore, the schools are not doing what is appropriate as they have to follow the Folkhälsomyndigheten which is insufficient. Thus I want to encourage students and teachers that are deeply concerned for the safety and health of people to try and make the government come to a faster decision regarding this PANDEMIC and let the kids stay home. 

Although a country’s economic growth is for many more important than the health of millions of citizens, it is crucial that the Swedish government comes to a decision regarding this virus and does something sooner rather than later. According to many sources there are over 500 people infected and many of those people can eventually die and it should never come to that. Countries such as Italy have taken this situation very seriously and have considered closing down their school and as of right now quarantine the whole entire nation. What I am wondering right now is how many cases of coronavirus will it take for Sweden to even consider closing down schools in order to keep the youth and people like me from getting infected. How many deaths does it take for Sweden to consider changing their behavior towards this pandemic?
