Fulton County has made its official decision to let students chose between face to face classes or online classes that can be done at home. However, the online option is severely limited and very unfair to students that choose that.

Many students at Fulton County have pre-existing medical conditions such as asthma or have close family members that do which makes it extremely unsafe to choose the face to face option. On top of that, Fulton County is STILL NOT requiring masks for students at all, which means that it will be even more unsafe as several students will not wear them which puts vulnerable students lives at risk.

In addition, if students were to choose the online option, they would have extremely limited AP class options, NO honors, or TAG classes, even though it is possible for them to have it because they had all those advanced courses online last school year.

This is extremely unfair for students that take honors/AP classes and wish to keep them and their family’s safe. They should have equal educational opportunities as students that are returning back to school. They should NOT have to worry about putting their lives in danger for a proper education such as taking Honors, ALL AP, and TAG classes. 

Please sign and demand that Fulton County include honors, ALL AP, and TAG  classes in their online option and protect the safety of our students! No student should choose between their safety or a successful education!
