My professor confirmed that the GMU Faculty/Administration is seriously considering making it university-wide mandatory pass/fail. This would adversely impact so many students who've worked hard for their grades thus far and many of us need our grades for graduate or professional schools. Rumor is apparently they may vote on this tomorrow. If they feel it is necessary, they should give students the option to opt-in to Pass/Fail, but making it mandatory is a HUGE mistake.
