As a student enrolled at Michigan State University, I feel as though me and other students are being wrongfully affected by the president of the university’s decision to not allow on campus housing. This decision couldn’t have come at a worse time. I don’t think the university realizes how this is going to impact all of the students. The president made this decision with the intention of the students well being but this decision is very last minute and should’ve been stated weeks prior. Many of my fellow classmates have already prepared and made arrangements for their dorms and spent substantial amounts of money. I am very disappointed in how the university handled this and the timing of everything. We are all in this together and we will get through this together but the removal of on campus housing is not the way to go. Please sign this petition to help bring back the on campus housing. Let our voices be heard! We are all spartan strong, and we can do this together. Go green!
