Students across the uk studying in university pay an extortionate amount of money for university tuitions. The average amount of debt for a university graduate in England is £40,000. Since covid started most universities have had to offer classes online. This is not what most people signed up for when they went to university. i certainly did not sign up to be half asleep on the university zoom calls. It is extreemly hard to consentrate while studying from home and it's a struggle to find the motivation to do coursework and assignments. If we are unable to get the full benefit out of university due to the government locking everything down and forcing us to stay in our homes. I don't see why we should pay full price for half an education. 

The issue is even worse for students in student accomodation they pay rent for when they are unabe to leave their accomodation. Students and young people are being blamed for the rise in covid cases across the UK, yet the govenment had no problem letting people move from all around the UK to be closer to their prospective universities. 

Althogh no one could have forseen the effect Covid would have on all of our lives i find it ridiculous to expect students who are already on a low income (even those privalaged enough to be able to pay outright) to pay full price for an experience that has been dampened due to Covid-19.

Don't pay for half an education. Don't pay to be locked up in your student accomodation. Don't pay for the stress lack of motivation gives you. We deserve better. We deserve our money back.
