Strava Beacon is a safety feature that is only available on a paid subscription. It sends a text to three friends so they can track where you are during a run/ride. It should be free to use so women can be safe while out exercising. 

It's no secret that the vast majority of assaults take place on women, by men. We choose our routes carefully. We choose our times carefully. We are still attacked. We need every tool to keep us safe. 

We should not have to pay for safety. 

Sarah Everard did everything "right" to keep herself safe. And yet she was still attacked and murdered. For her sake, for every woman's sake.
