Many Ai data centers are being built in Australia in the next few months/years. What happened to the NetZero plan? This petition is to stop these centers from being built. The data centers are responsible for noise, light and environment pollution. The fossil fuel emissions are large and the water usage would be detrimental to this already drought-stricken, water scare country. People living around these data centers will have to put up with constant noise and light and pollution. It will disrupt natures balance and will lead to less water for things that matter (I.e sustaining human/animal/natures life!) The data centers WILL affect you in this lifetime. If society sits by ignoring the impacts, more will start popping up. They will be built on your backyard, making a constant noise,  emitting constant light and emitting great amounts of greenhouse gasses. So many people at my school use AI for their homework and even assessments. This WILL atrophy the brain. STOP using Ai for the sake of your brain, people living near data centers and the environment. There are also massive health impacts. People in America living near data centers have developed respiratory diseases such as COPD that you usually get from smoking for years. This is due to the detrimental emissions from these data centres! Please sign this petition if you want to stop the construction of these dangerous data centers!
