On August 13th, YouTube started a AI system that guesses users' ages based on search history, watch history, and timeline of account made. If they guess it wrong, you have to send in government documents, like ID or driver's license, to correct them. They claim it's for "protecting the kids from harmful content" but it seems it's more about control. Besides, don't they know how dangerous it is to be sending your PERSONAL information out to a public platform?
