Wychavon has now confirmed that, on Wednesday 25 March 2026, councillors are being asked to approve the SWDP and push forward the direction of travel for Parkway, Wychavon Town.

And residents are entitled to ask a very simple question.

Why a Special Council Meeting?

What is so special here, apart from the urgency to sign this off?

If this plan is so sound, why does it feel like it is being rushed over the line?

Email your MP.

Tell them clearly that this decision will be remembered.

They were elected to represent local people.
They answer to local people.
And local people are entitled to judge their decisions at the ballot box.
