Stop Wildfires Using Artificial Rain Technologies and Counter-Fire Barriers

Stop Wildfires Using Artificial Rain Technologies and Counter-Fire Barriers
The Issue
Subject:
Accepting of 5 key changes to wildfire fighting and prevention strategies in the United States
Problem:
The problem of wildfires needs to be immediately resolved. It must be recognized that it has become a disaster for millions of people, for animal life, and for the economy. The following extraordinary facts for our civilization should be raised as a priority for discussion and recognition:
- These disasters have been and will be repeated unless a new strategy for fighting them is adopted
- Humans as well as wildlife suffer and die
- Unprecedented and irreparable property losses
- Reduced standard of living due to rising home insurance costs
- Huge release of CO2 and other harmful burning emissions
- Decrease in human health due to air and water quality
- Rising budget costs and underfunding of other programs
- Risk of cancer growth for firefighters and residents near wildfires
Our Request - 5 key changes to wildfire fighting and prevention strategies:
Honorable President of the United States, Honorable Governors, we urge you to consider and adopt 5 key changes to wildfire fighting and prevention strategies in the United States, namely:
- Prioritize the development of artificial rain technologies (it's no cloud seeding) as the most promising for large areas and hard-to-reach places;
- Make it a priority to change urban planning regulations with mandatory construction of fireproof ground structures as a barrier to fire (concrete drainage ditches);
- Prioritize the installation and regular performance testing of surface irrigation systems along fireproof ground structures (using fresh and saltwater);
- Prioritize the use of natural water resources for fire protection of people and residential structures;
- Stimulate economic and competitive conditions for the insurance market to avoid higher insurance costs due to increasing landscape fire risks.
Support for Solutions:
- We ask all concerned residents of the United States and other countries to express their support for this initiative.
- We ask journalists, opinion leaders, and media to support coverage of these topics and subsequent discussions for legislation at the state and federal levels.
- We ask investors to evaluate the attractiveness of wildfire mitigation projects.
- We ask state senators, representatives, and assembly members to facilitate discussions and passage of binding laws and regulations for new wildfire fighting strategies.
- We ask Governors and the President of the United States to prioritize, instead of abstract discussions, the development of concrete executive actions to prevent and fight large-scale wildfires.
To:
- President of the U.S. Donald J. Trump
- Governor of California Gavin C. Newsom
- Governor of Texas Gregory W. Abbott
- Governor of Arizona Kathleen M. Hobbs
- Governor of New York Kathleen Hochul
- Governor of Colorado Jared S. Polis
- Governor of Alaska Michael J. Dunleavy
- Governor of Hawaii Joshua B. Green
- Governor of Idaho Bradley J. Little
- Governor of Montana Gregory R. Gianforte
- Governor of Nevada Joseph M. Lombardo
- Governor of New Mexico Michelle L. Grisham
- Governor of Oklahoma John K. Stitt
- Governor of Oregon Christine Kotek
- Governor of South Dakota Kristi L. Noem
- Governor of Washington Robert W. Ferguson
- Governor of Wyoming Mark Gordon
Together, we can ensure the safety of United States residents and protect the natural balance of our environment. Forever.
Sincerely,
The Residents of the United States and planet Earth
Notes:
- Counter-fire barriers are concrete drainage ditches through which a downstream wildfire cannot pass. They also drain water during rainfall. These barriers are built around the entire community, not around each house. The cost of these structures is low. Many examples of fast and inexpensive construction can be found in Japan.
- But concrete counter-fire barriers are powerless against overhead wildfires. Therefore, a pipe and sprinklers, like those used by farmers for irrigation, are laid along the ditch simultaneously.
- Artificial rain technology is based on the use of unmanned aerostatically unloaded aircraft connected in a chain up to 2-3 miles long, which are connected to a fresh or salt water supply and mobile high-voltage generators on the ground that can withstand winds in any direction up to 108 mph.
