It appears that this petition is a now a source of embarrassment and concern for the developer seeking to force the McQueen Family to sell its land to him in a duplicitous real estate investment scheme.  This although the developer is now publicly listed as one of the owners of 2028 St. Mark Street, Charlotte, NC, 28216.  This although he has filed a public petition in court under his company’s name to force the sale.

No doubt this is also what has caused the developer to hurriedly scrub his social media pages of his photo and any reference linking him to HIS OWN lawsuit AND real estate development company.

The family now is on the cusp of filing a series of answers in court detailing some of the developer’s underhanded tactics in procuring an interest in the McQueen Family’s property from a mentally impaired family member for his financial benefit.

Do not let this underhanded developer who now wishes to work under a cloak of anonymity to force the sale of this family’s land succeed.  Doing so is substantially against public policy as it would condone and encourage an especially egregious type of predatory real estate development practice that continues to systematically strip land ownership, wealth and all of the proper attenuated benefits of such rights in historically black neighborhoods in Charlotte which still serve as vibrant backbones of these culturally significant communities.

Please sign, forward, repost, retweet, etc. until this senseless and cruel effort stops.

Thank you,

The McQueen Family
