after beating of dalit youths in Gujarat, ‘Gau Raksha’ (cow protection) groups beat up two women in Madhya Pradesh over suspicion of possessing beef . The incident at the Mandsaur railway station occurred in presence of the police which remained a mute spectator
earlier in 2015 Dadri mob lynching refers to case of mob lynching in which a mob of Hindu people attacked a Muslim family on the night of 28 September 2015 in Bisara village near Dadri, Uttar Pradesh, India. The attackers killed 52-year-old Mohammad Akhlaq Saifi and seriously injured his son, 22-year-old Danish. Muhammad Akhlaq’s death is a blunt violation of the Constitution of India that guarantees due process of law and right to life. No matter what the law is and how heinous a crime it may be to eat beef, it does not justify a mob to decide whether he deserves death penalty.
What was recovered from the house of the lynching victim in Dadri was not beef, but meat of “goat progeny,” a preliminary inquiry by the Uttar Pradesh Veterinary Department has found.
2016 Jharkhand mob lynching refers to the case of lynching of two Muslim cattle traders by allegedly Cattle-Protection Vigilantes in Balumath forests in Latehar district in Jharkhand on 18 March 2016. The attackers killed 32 years old Mazlum Ansari and 15 years old Imteyaz Khan who were found hanging from a tree. According to Jharkhand police, preliminary investigation revealed that the two were on their way to a cattle market in Chatra district. They had at least eight oxen with them, which they intended to sell. They were reportedly caught by a group of people in the early hours, beaten to death and hanged.
All these incidents shows Gau rakshak dal taking law and order in their hands and people are threaten and feeling unsafe Catel traders ,transporters ,minorities and dalits are soft target of Gau Rakshak samities..There for I urge government should ban these Gau rakshak Dals and Samities
