The Issue

I'm tired of watching my hard-earned tax dollars funnel into military assistance for Israel, especially when it seems to directly fund actions that many international observers have called war crimes. It’s infuriating to know that while our own national debt continues to spiral out of control, we are pumping $3.8 billion a year into a foreign country that faces countless allegations of serious human rights violations.

Israel's military operations in Gaza and the West Bank have been widely criticized. Thousands of innocent civilians, including children, have lost their lives or become homeless due to military strikes. According to the United Nations, over 12,000 homes, clinics, hospitals, and schools have been destroyed in just one year. This destruction blatantly defies international law, and our funding facilitates it.

Moreover, our country is grappling with its own issues of poverty and infrastructure decay. According to the National Debt Clock, our debt is over $31 trillion and growing every minute. We have people in the streets without homes, our healthcare system leaves many uninsured, and our public schools are struggling. Why are we ignoring our own citizens' needs while financing international disputes?

It's time to redirect these funds to address the challenges we face at home. We should prioritize affordable housing, a robust healthcare system, quality education, and infrastructure renewal over foreign conflict subsidies. By cutting military aid to Israel, these issues could receive a fraction of the needed funding, propelling us toward a healthier society.

Join me in demanding that our leaders reconsider our financial priorities. Urge our representatives to immediately stop all military aid to Israel until it complies with international law and human rights standards. Sign this petition to make a stand and redirect our resources to better use. Together, we can ensure our nation’s future is secure and free from debt-induced stagnation.
