Stop Unjust Deportations and Racial Profiling Across the U.S.
The Issue
Millions of immigrants, their families, and communities are being harmed by the current immigration policies and practices in the U.S. These individuals, many of whom have lived and contributed to this country for years, are being wrongfully targeted, detained, and deported simply because of their appearance, heritage, or immigration status. Every day, families are torn apart, with innocent people suffering simply for looking a certain way. Immigrants of all backgrounds—whether Latino, Indigenous, or from other communities—are living in constant fear of being separated from their loved ones. These are not just statistics; these are real people, real families whose lives are being upended by an unjust system.
If this continues, it will mean even more broken families, and the very values this country was built on—justice, equality, and freedom—will continue to fade. Immigrants are an integral part of this country, contributing to its economy, culture, and communities in countless ways. From building our infrastructure to teaching our children, they are the backbone of many industries. If we allow this unjust treatment to persist, we risk losing the principles that make America great. We also risk creating a future where fear and division replace compassion and unity. The youth of this nation will grow up in a world shaped by discrimination and uncertainty, instead of one where opportunity and justice are available to everyone.
Now is the time to act because every day that passes without meaningful change is a day more lives are destroyed. The longer Congress remains silent, the more damage is done to our communities. Immigrant families face daily fear and hardship, and if these harmful practices continue, the effects will be irreversible. This is a critical moment, and if we don’t act now, we risk losing everything we’ve worked for. It’s time for Congress to step up, hold leaders accountable, and demand policies that protect the rights and dignity of every person—no matter their immigration status or ethnicity. The time for action is now, before it’s too late.
