STOP UNFAIR PRACTICES IN TRUCKING - STOP THE POOR PAY PER MILE AND AND DECEPTIVE LOAD POST

STOP UNFAIR PRACTICES IN TRUCKING - STOP THE POOR PAY PER MILE AND AND DECEPTIVE LOAD POST

The Issue

These practices are impacting the  lives of the men and women who sacrifice day in and day out to deliver goods and products to our warehouses, supermarkets and manufacturers. These men and women are forced to accept both, deceptive business practices as well as unfair pay to simply remain in business as independent contractors in a market that supplies everything our society needs to function except the fair pay to the individuals doing the heavy lifting. The independent contractors are left without any true or affective representation in one of the most important fields of employment. In conjunction with this, the independent contractor is also left at the mercies of the unfair and often times unprofessional actions of Broker agencies who are represented largely by individuals who have both no idea or concern about the fair treatment and pay of the independent contractor.

At stake should These things be allowed to continue are the very survival of these very valuable men and women as well as their families, who are forced day in and day out to accept extremely low pay per mile, long and mostly unpaid wait times as well as unsafe expectations from people who have absolutely no regard for the safety of our  general and most importantly for our professional Independent contractors delivering these goods.

NOW is the time present the concerns and or issues the Independent contractor faces each day at the hands of Brokers across the entire United States of America. Without this effort, these practices will ruin the lives of people have only known this industry as a way of support for their families and many will be forced to no longer remain in business as an independent contractor in the transportation industry.
