I am an American and I love my Country . I do not love the America that I am seeing this country rapidly becoming . A divided , angry bitter America .I lay much of this at the feet of one Donald J Trump . While awakening a call for a change in the status quo in our political system by those who feel left out of the positive changes that have been made in recent years he has also awakened a very dark, vile element of our society . A too large portion of our country that feeds on hate, ignorance and bigotry. While it is reasonable to say that not all Trump supporters fall in with this element and support what they mistakenly see as a bright light , There is a large portion of Trump supporters who already bigoted and ignorant , are further stoked in their hate and anger by Trump's rhetoric which borders on segregation and fascism . He has called for mass deportations of minorities because he sees them as a threat to our national security. Instead of seeing that their religion and or culture has been hijacked by those who are truly evil , he lumps all cultures and religions together . he has now called into question the integrity of immigrants who are here legally .

If you do not believe that things are  as bad as I claim , watch a few of Trump's speeches and rallies and interviews , watch the recently released videos from The New York Times of Trump supporters spewing their racist angry vile hate of anyone who does not agree with them , their attacks on Muslims and blacks and Hispanics , their unwavering belief in Trump assertions that have been repeatedly disproved. They have called for bodily harm if not death for Hillary Clinton. Trump for his part has done nothing to calm or tamper the flames, instead , his rhetoric continues to throw fuel on the fire.

I watch and listen to this man and I see passive aggressive, I see a very thin skinned man who responds to any critics and or anyone that he does not approve of , the way that a school bully would.by calling names. He has called on his supporters to attack physically those at his rallies who go against him telling them that he will pay their legal bills should they be arrested for their crime. 

He has made statement after statement that have later been proven to be untrue including the latest about seeing money fall off a plane in Iran . A statement he was eventually forced to retract He has had to be pushed to disavow the KKK, he has disparaged the handicapped , women, minorities , veterans and countless others.  There is a clear and present mental instability in this man and putting him in the White House is tantamount to dropping a nuclear bomb on our country . I am greatly saddened by what I have witnessed as I am sure millions of Americans are by things we have seen in the last few months and again, Trump may not be totally or at all responsible for these things but none the less , he continues to stir the pot of darkness . America is not the hell hole that Trump portrays . I am not great at putting into words why Trump scares the hell out of me and scares the hell out of many other Americans but if you sign this petition , you understand the point I am trying to make and you love this country enough to try to save it .  

I am calling on our national and local media to begin discussing and investigating in earnest the mental health fitness or lack thereof of one Donald J  Trump , I am calling on all those who support and have endorsed Donald Trump To strongly rebuke him and pull their endorsements . I am seeking a House Committee to investigate any possible relationship between Donald Trump and the Russian government and his comments asking the Russian government to hack computer networks particularly those belonging to the DNC and I am asking that qualified impartial mental health experts seek to  give Donald Trump a thorough mental health exam to prove or disprove his fitness to be president of the United States 

There is a national nightmare that is going on in our country and it must be stopped . Donald Trump is proving more and more every day that he lacks the temperament , experience and knowledge to be the leader of the free world . More frighteningly and the purpose of this petition, he lacks the psychological stability to be in control of our nuclear weapons let alone the country . I am a common citizen and in no way a scholar or expert on the subject of mental health . That being said, it should be obvious to the most casual observer that the man is not mentally stable. I am not alone in this call for a mental health exam for Mr Trump Karen Bass , top Democratic Lawmaker has begun her own petition here .

America needs mature , rational , steady leadership . We cannot , the world cannot afford to elect a man who flies off the handle at the least little provocation , rants , throws tantrums , makes constant nonsensical  statements rambling incoherently especially about events long past . He holds up Checkout stand gossip magazines such as The National Enquirer as reputable , reliable news sources . He has said that much of his current affairs knowledge and views come from television ! Seriously . 

America is headed toward a darkness that it has never known if it does not act now and demand that Donald trump's mental health be vetted . America has a right to know if he is mentally fit to serve . I put forward also, that in the future , all presidential candidates be psychologically vetted along with the physical exams that they currently take . Americas safety is too vital to not have a presidential candidate's mental health not taken into consideration .
