Stop Towing Guests Without Warnings - in Southedge HOA

The Issue

To my dearest friends and neighbors, I would like for us all to take a moment and observe our Money Hungry HOA. They are too cheap to get us our own Neighborhood Security, therefore leaving us residents to VOLUNTARILY act as our own neighborhood watch. Now this would normally be acceptable, however, they still somehow manage to be present enough to tow our guests' cars within just an HOUR of parking. Keep in mind that this was during a holiday (Cinco De Mayo) and I had 2 of my guests Cars towed in the matter of ONE HOUR. Upon doing my research, our HOA sent an email to residents informing us that a town home driveway is a fire lane, even though this is right in front of my own garage, there is no red paint, and there is no Fire Hydrant. First of all, how is every guest supposed to know this imaginary rule if it is their first time visiting? Second, the "designated overflow parking" is occupied by our own residents' secondary vehicles. Everywhere else in society, a fire lane is marked as a fire lane. There are plenty of nicer areas in Anthem Highlands that will not resort to towing one's vehicle right away, instead, they are human enough to serve a warning - or at least a parking ticket that won't completely break the bank. It does not help that the phone number to our HOA's office has very limited hours, and when they finally do pick up the phone, the person in charge of answering the phone has no clue to where the vehicles are. I hopelessly left voicemails, spoke to multiple representatives, and was even told that they will "escalate" the urgency of my situation. I still have yet to receive a call back, and in the meantime, the tow company that most likely sits across town is charging me rent.

Picture this: Two new guests are staying over at your place for a holiday. They just so happened to park in an UNMARKED fire lane and get towed back-to-back in the matter of 1 hour. (keep in mind that your designated overflow parking is full) You make it outside on time because you have a ring camera, but the disrespectful Tow driver does not allow you to retrieve your belongings from the vehicles and quickly drives off to an undisclosed location. Now that your holiday weekend is over, you are late to work because there is nobody who can help you with your situation.

While I am sure that their intentions are in our best interest, the inconvenience outweighs the convenience.

I would like for this petition to serve as a request for the HOA to give our guests a warning.  While this idea might not generate enough revenue for our Money Hungry HOA, they could at least be reasonable and give out parking tickets. Besides, none of this would be an issue had they marked our fire lanes properly.
