Captive elephants are proposed to be paraded and exhibited in scorching sun  during PM Modi's visit to Kerala in January 2024.

The locals support this barbaric act calling it a traditional practice.Like every other animals,Elephants too are sensitive to loud  sound and get panicky  when they are exposed to crowd . These helpless animals are made to stand for hours with 3-4 people placed on their backs.

We are n the 21 st century and claim to  have evolved as human beings .its high time that we become sensitive and compassionate to other beings.Lets get rid of these barbaric practices which involve cruelty and torture towards  animals.Lets get together and prevent this practice from happening.
