We have been covered by Bylines Scot, the only news outlet following the deferral period of the sale closely and the implications of the Council's selling the Bouchardon bust.
Interesting to see in print how, after so much maligning of the bust's treatment, that in reality it was not being used as a doorstop, but was officially inventoried by Mr. Colin MacKenzie and properly stored in a Locality Facility.
I don't understand why the Council would let us believe anything else. It is almost as though it was allowing our culture to be disparaged.
