Stop the Willow Project

The Issue

ConocoPhillips, a firm that has generated controversy for its continuing oil drilling, exploitation of nature, and risk to indigenous communities worldwide, has proposed the Willow Project, a pipeline in Northern Alaska. The Biden administration approved this project in March of 2023. It is now 2026, and the Willow Project is still ongoing, but there is still potential for it to be stopped.

Compared to the rest of the country, Alaska has warmed up more than twice as quickly. The ground is melting and the water levels are rising. Our future generations will suffer if we destroy our planet in order to make life easier for everyone else.
