While we wait for the Mayor’s response to our Friday deadline, the infrastructure isn't waiting. This morning in Melsetter, a major leak sent treated water bubbling into the street—a perfect example of the 60% water loss the Daily Maverick just reported on. ⛲️🚫

The contrast is staggering:

The City lost R840 Million in 6 months (Source: The Herald).
They slashed our Ward maintenance by 45%.
They want a 9.2% tariff hike.
We need 28 more people to hit 300. >
