We have received formal acknowledgement of our Letter of Grievance sent on March 6th!

This means the Executive Mayor and the Speaker are officially aware of our demands regarding the 45% cut to our ward's maintenance budget. In that letter, we gave them 14 days to respond.

The clock is ticking: They have 4 days left to explain why a ward contributing R100m in taxes is being left with a crumbling grid and bursting pipes.

While we wait, our movement has grown to 266 signatures. We are entering this week stronger than ever. If you haven't signed the formal objection yet, do it now—every name adds weight to our legal escalation to the Public Protector.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO SHARE: We need to keep the pressure mounting as the Friday deadline approaches. If you haven't shared the link to your neighborhood or family WhatsApp groups yet, please do so now. Every new signature makes our legal escalation to the Public Protector more powerful.
