I live in Deep River, Sanford, NC, USA. My neighbors and I are constantly disturbed from within our homes by the uncontrolled, incessant vibratory humming noise coming from equipment (possibly industrial fan or baghouse) located at Liberty Tire. The facility operates night and day, including most weekends. The equipment causing the hum runs more often than not. The low frequency noise is so disturbing that it is significantly affecting our mental and physical health and can actually be felt within our bodies. In addition, it prevents us from having peace, getting a full night's rest, or even enjoying our days without interruption.

Liberty Tire is an important part of our community; however, their current operation hours and the humming noise are causing significant disruption to residents' quality of life. Noise pollution has been linked to various physical and mental health issues including anxiety, stress-related illnesses, high blood pressure, sleep disturbance, and even heart disease (World Health Organization). It's not just about inconvenience - it's about our health!

We understand that businesses need to operate efficiently but not at the expense of residents' peace and well-being. We therefore call on Liberty Tire to put a stop to the vibratory humming/rumbling by finding ways to stop it (something an acoustic engineering firm can assist with).
