At the last VSB information session held yesterday to discuss the proposed catchment changes and removal of sibling priority, VSB planners and various Trustees indicated that they may be open to modifying the proposal but only with significant feedback. Currently, they are defending the proposal because they think the move will improve waiting lists...which will certainly not be the case in areas such as downtown, Olympic Village and False Creek. The best way to provide your feedback is by using the VSB's online feedback form at http://govsb.ca/catchmentreviewfeedbackform. The deadline to submit feedback is TODAY, May 23rd, as they will need to collect all feedback and present to the Board of Trustees on June 13th. It is a short form to fill out and is open to anyone, with or without kids. As the survey does not ask you specifically where you are located, you can include this information in the comments if it directly affects your family so they can target your area.
