$5k in 24 hours. Holy smokes! Let's Fund the Legal Fight for Transparency and Fiscal Responsibility!

Wow, friends. I launched a GoFundMe to raise money to cover legal expenses in our fight to stop the secret no-bid Melrose Pool deal. The Cheltenham Township Board of Commissioners may not listen to the 687 signatories of this petition, but they will listen when weighty legal representation shows up on our behalf.
One thing that I can't stop thinking about: It's completely nuts that supporters of this campaign are having to pay their hard-earned money to hire a lawyer JUST TO GET OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS TO FOLLOW MANDATORY COMPETITIVE BIDDING LAWS AND MOVE FORWARD WITH A MEANINGFUL PUBLIC PROCESS. That's not how it should work. In the first 24 hours of our fundraising campaign, our community has raised over $5400. Dang! Ryan Genova at Glenside Local covered the story this evening.
If you're able to chip in, please consider making a contribution. Either way, please do everything you can to share the GoFundMe link with people in your network who might be willing and able to contribute. Every dollar counts!
Thanks very much for your support of this campaign. Onward!
