My name is Jason, and I’m part of the Decision Maker team at Change.org. I reached out to Representative Mike Clampitt’s office to ensure they were aware of the petition concerning the proposed TopCat River Market in Jackson County.

While Representative Clampitt is not the direct decision maker on this proposal, he does represent the district and may have influence or a role in future discussions.

His office let us know that Representative Clampitt has been hospitalized due to health issues, which has prevented him from responding to constituents directly. They also shared that his condition may impact his ability to participate in upcoming legislative or local advocacy efforts.

His team is expected to provide a public update on his health this Friday. We wanted to make sure you were aware of why you may not have heard back and how this could affect engagement around the project moving forward.
