See the Response Below. This is a good start, but until we have something concrete that will be done, let's keep pushing this forward. In my opinion, I think speed bumps are the only solution that will physically slow traffic. So support of having them installed will be crucial. Personally, I don't mind if they put one literally right in the front of my house, in fact, I would love that!

We spoke with the City Engineer who called you – currently, the traffic calming budget is spent but in June gets another $300,000 in the budget (if approved). Some traffic calming measures like speed humps need approval from our fire officials as speed humps can cause different issues (sometimes some residents are not too keen on them!).
The helpful news is that Cameo Drive is high up on the list of streets that need traffic calming measures but we will continue here to try and come up with additional steps that can be taken.
