This petition stands in opposition to the construction of a data centre in South Norwich, Opposite Harford Bridge Tesco on Ipswich Road. 

Data centres are incredibly resource-intensive. They consume vast amounts of electricity and water, contributing to significant carbon emissions and have a huge environmental impact. 

Data centres have been proven to cause massive water insecurity in many spots across the U.S. We cannot allow that to happen here too. 

This could seriously impact the precious ecosystem in and around Norwich as well as just being a public nuisance.  As a society we need to start funding sustainable energy that has a much smaller impact on our environment both locally and globally. 

Lets ensure that "Big Tech" can't put down roots in our community.
