There is a small group of individuals at Francis Lewis High School spreading dangerous lies and hateful rhetoric against our principal, Dr. David Marmor. In a deeply offensive and baseless claim, they are accusing Dr. Marmor of being anti-Semitic. Their anger stems from the fact that he upholds Chancellor’s Regulations and ensures that all voices are heard without discrimination, as every leader in public education is required to do.

These individuals have crossed a serious line. They illegally obtained and distributed school surveillance footage, then pushed a false narrative about what it shows. The video does not support their claims—yet their lies are spreading widely, damaging reputations and putting staff and students in harm’s way.

This is not just misinformation—it is SLANDER. It is a coordinated effort to defame Dr. Marmor and undermine the integrity of Francis Lewis High School. This is not about anti-Semitism, it’s about retaliation. 

The actions of this small group have created a deeply unsafe and hostile environment for our entire school community—students, staff, and families alike. This behavior is reckless, harmful, and completely unacceptable.

Dr. Marmor deserves better. We all do.
