The Issue

Saman Kiani Vafa, Arman Kiani Vafa, and Rahman Kiani Vafa, beloved brothers from my hometown of Shahin Shahr, Isfahan, are facing imminent execution in Iran. Their only crime was participating in peaceful protests, standing up for what they believed was right alongside countless other brave individuals. The thought of losing them this way is a crushing blow not only to their family and community but to the broader ideals of justice and human rights worldwide.

Iran has a history of using capital punishment against those who dare to express dissenting views, and these executions are often carried out with limited transparency, leaving families in agony and communities in fear. According to Amnesty International, Iran executes more individuals per capita than almost any other country, a grim statistic that underscores the need for urgent action. The international community cannot stand idly by while these brothers, and potentially countless others, are wrongfully silenced.

By signing this petition, you are demanding that the Iranian government halt the executions of Saman, Arman, and Rahman Kiani Vafa. Demand that the Iranian authorities adhere to international human rights conventions and reconsider the charges against these peaceful protesters. The brothers’ fight was for a better, more just society—a fight that should be celebrated, not punished with lethal force.

We urge all organizations that advocate for human rights, as well as governments worldwide, to intervene and apply diplomatic pressure on Iran to stop these executions. Every voice matters. Every signature counts. Stand against this inhumane act, stand for justice, and let us bring Saman, Arman, and Rahman safely back to their families. Sign the petition and join us in ending this silent massacre.
