The New Era rezoning proposal #C9-22-03 to build 37 houses on 11 acres at the NE corner of Houghton Road and Tanque Verde Rd is back on the Tucson Zoning Examiner’s schedule for a public hearing on August 4, 2022 at 6 pm.
Please plan to attend the public hearing and voice your opposition.
There are two ways to participate in this meeting.

Residents in Tucson city limits, and in Pima County, have voiced concern over this proposal. It has negative consequences for our environment (flooding, riparian lands conservation, water supply), traffic, schools, and support of the larger Tanque Verde Valley community.
