Hello everyone,
First, I want to say thank you for signing the petition and standing up for our community. Your support means everything, and it proves that so many of us care about protecting our neighborhoods from unnecessary overdevelopment.
But we can’t stop here. We need to make sure our voices are heard. The Meridian Township Board is voting at their next meeting on whether to approve this rezoning—so this is our LAST chance to make a real impact!
The Meridian Township Board meeting is on Tuesday, March 18th at 6:00 PM at Township Hall (5151 Marsh Rd, Okemos, MI). If you would like to speak at the meeting, you will need to sign your name on a green slip when you arrive. A strong presence at this meeting will show the board just how many residents oppose this rezoning.
If you can’t attend in person, please take a few minutes to email the Meridian Township Board at board@meridian.mi.us and let them know you oppose this rezoning. Even a short email can make a big impact!
It can be as simple as:
“I am in opposition to Rezoning Ordinance 2025-03 (Parcel ID #33-02-02-22-454-003) and urge the Board to vote against it.”
Please help as this area does not need more congestion! This vote will directly affect our community, and we need as many people as possible to speak out. Thank you again for your support—I truly appreciate every single one of you. Let’s make sure the township knows where we all stand!
