Thank you for signing our petition against the renaming of Shooting Meadows Path. 

As we currently understand it, neither Swale Borough Council nor Faversham Town Council will accept that going ahead with the name change is a mistake - and one which undermines both local opinion and our town's heritage. We will be continuing our campaign to persuade them to reverse this ill-thought through decision. 

As a supporter of our campaign, we wanted to let you know about an opportunity coming up for all Faversham residents raise this issue directly with the Town Council. The Annual Town Meeting is being held at the Alexander Centre in Faversham from 7.30pm on Tuesday 18th March - and all residents are able to attend and raise any local issue with Town Councillors. This is a great chance to get our voices heard!
