In yet another taxpayer-funded assault on Canada’s heritage, the Toronto District School Board—one of the most ideologically extreme in the country—has voted to strip the names of Egerton Ryerson, Henry Dundas, and Canada’s founding father, John A. Macdonald, from three schools. This deliberate effort to erase and rewrite our history was rigged from the start—not a single historian was consulted at any stage of the process. The outcome was predetermined.

We are living in an era of aggressive cultural and historical erasure, carried out under the guise of progress. Justin Trudeau himself has openly called Canada a “post-national state with no identity,” and this latest move aligns perfectly with that agenda. Adding insult to injury, this is being done with our tax dollars and without meaningful public consultation.

If you, like us, are outraged by these costly, ideologically driven initiatives, take action. Email your local trustee and make your voice heard: TDSB Trustee Contact List.

The fight to preserve Canada’s history and identity is now. If we do nothing, we will continue to see our nation reshaped by transnational activists determined to impose their dystopian vision on our country.
