This morning (17 Aug) a meeting was held between the landowners who want the fp closed permanently, County Footpath officer and the parish council about what the options are for the weir crossing. 2 x options 1st get weir surveyed by civil engineers and keep this or a renewed bridge on the same location. 2nd option re route the fp with new bridges away from the landowners house but this will take years to solve and agree.

So the PC agreed to remove the bridge because of insurance risk and store it.

The PC made this decision and yet they are not the outright owners of the bridge they had made a donation to the Community bridge with other landowners and interested partners.
