As a committed community member with children in the Stamford School District, I am deeply concerned with the recent decision by outgoing Superintendent Tamu Lucero to remove the principal leaders from Westhill High School, Stamford High School, and Rogers. These principals have served our schools diligently and have the unwavering support of our community. The abrupt decision seems to be a retaliatory move by Ms. Lucero, who has overstepped her authority during her final months with our school system.

The principals in question have a track record of putting students' educational needs and well-being at the forefront, particularly during challenges such as the implementation of the block schedule.
