Hello and Happy Friday!

The fight still continues to preserve the peacock flock as a whole in the only home they have ever known. We were successful in stopping them from being sent to the lab at Texas A&M! However, plans for mass removal are still in the works. I have attempted to work with Councilman Turner, unfortunately, he only sent me one canned response in regard to my attempts to communicate with him. 

I have sent a brief which was drafted by a lawyer outlining the concerns within the community as well as possible solutions which would keep the flock in the park, and not be a burden on the taxpayer. This brief has been ignored by Councilman Turner for a month.

I have received word he is also ignoring fellow council members and their attempts to communicate with him on this subject. He has also failed to show up at the last two council meetings. A reasonable person would think this signals his unwillingness to communicate with his constituents on a matter which is obviously important to them. He has not communicated with any of us on a level beyond a canned mass response to our emails. 

Please email him and has him why he is completely ignoring the brief which was sent by me, Stacy Damitio. It is beginning to seem like he just does not care to take any of our thoughts or solutions into consideration. This is not how a representative of the people should behave, and it is up to US to hold him accountable.
