The Issue

We, the undersigned property owners and residents of the Wonder Lake community, respectfully ask the Wonder Lake Master Property Owners Association (MPOA) Board of Directors and applicable voting delegates to reject the proposed Strategic Restricted Fund in its current form.

We support protecting Wonder Lake and maintaining our community. We also believe that before any new mandatory financial obligation is approved, property owners deserve clear and complete information about the proposal and a meaningful opportunity to review it and provide input.

We are asking the MPOA to:

• Clearly disclose the proposed amount each property owner would be required to pay and how the money would be collected.

• Explain the purpose of the proposed fund and specifically what expenses would qualify for its use.

• Explain who would have authority to approve expenditures and what safeguards and reporting requirements would apply.

• Provide information about existing MPOA reserves and restricted funds and explain why an additional fund is necessary.

• Give MPOA members adequate time to review the complete proposal and supporting financial information before any final vote or implementation.

• Consider alternatives for addressing legitimate lake preservation, maintenance, repair, and emergency needs without creating an additional mandatory financial burden unless and until the membership has received sufficient information and approved the proposal through the applicable MPOA process.

Our position is simple: Protect Wonder Lake, but do it with transparency, fiscal responsibility, and meaningful member input.

We therefore respectfully request that the proposed Strategic Restricted Fund NOT be approved in its current form.

Please sign this petition if you support greater transparency and member input before a new financial obligation is imposed on Wonder Lake property owners.
